Program Description

This position is limited to transitioning services members with an Intelligence MOS and an active TS/SCI clearance able to participate at Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) headquarters in Quantico, VA. NCIS is a second echelon command assigned the mission of fulfilling the investigative, counterintelligence, counter terrorism, cyber and physical security responsibilities of the Department of the Navy (DON), NCIS consists of a headquarters, 16 Field Offices and over 140 field components worldwide. NCIS is made up of over 2000 professional, technical and support employees. National Security Directorate employs a wide array of offensive and defensive capabilities to detect, deter and neutralize intelligence, terrorism and cyber threats against U.S. Navy and Marine Corps forces worldwide.

Job Description

This position is for the Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) program and provides a counterintelligence functional service to the USN/NCIS with the primary mission to conduct defensive countermeasures in high threat areas to detect, neutralize, and exploit technical surveillance and associated devices, technologies, and vulnerabilities that facilitate the unauthorized or inadvertent access to or exfiltration of DoN/DoD information. Applicable to service members with counterintelligence functional experience and other highly desirable skills/experience associated with intelligence disciplines, counterintelligence, and surveillance, electronics, radio frequency theory, cellular and telephone systems operations, information systems, physical security/access controls, and SCIF construction security and countermeasures. This will provide experience supporting counterintelligence investigations, operations, and functional services in support of the National Defense Strategy of the United States and Department of Defense.
